Operator Job - Marafiq Jun 17th 2012, 07:14 Machine Operations: Operate plant machinery and equipment according to define operating instructions and the operations plan. Monitor the operation and process control of the SWC and its auxiliaries. Equipment Monitoring: Coordinate with Operations Superintendents, Planning and Maintenance Engineers for the scheduling of any outage for preventive maintenance of major equipment that may result in production loss or restriction of operation. Process Control Monitor process parameters and control within defined limits of the SWC for Annual Overhaul in coordination with the shift supervisor. Perform other activities such as practising good housekeeping in and around the plant, observing safe procedures, electrical switching for isolation of equipment and auxiliaries according to instructions of supervisor, etc. Assist to Supervisor for all other operational activities during the shift and other related work assigned by his supervisor. Shift Reports Maintain accurate shift records of events, machine status and operatrions so that all critical information is concisely communicated between shifts. Maintain the operator's log sheet & log book by entering data and write all activities in logbook during the shift. Emergency Response Respond immediately to emergencies, including fires, to mitigate and rescue Plant equipment and/or personnel during emergency. Plocies & Procedures Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Safety, Quality & Environment Follow all relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions so that personal safety and the safety of others is not jeopardized and a minimum level of product/service quality and environmental impact can be guaranteed.
