Mechanical Engineer Job - Marafiq Jun 4th 2012, 08:24 Ensure that all mechanical maintenance activities relating to portable water plant, equipment and distribution infrastructure is carried out in a compliant manner and to a high standard so as to maximise plant availability and guarantee supply of a conforming product to customers. The job is accountable for all mechanical maintenance activities concerning all potable water assets across the Jubail network. At present this comprises two desalination plants, three reverse osmosis plants and 32 pumping stations as well as the distribution networks. Although the not having formal man-management/supervisory accountability over any Marafiq employees, the jobholder is required to supervise the activities of a team of external contractor staff on a 3 shift basis, 24 hours per day and 7 days per week. The jobholder is the first point of contact for the contractor in the reporting of any potable water maintenance issues.
