Facilities Controller Job Jun 15th 2012, 09:06 A. Manages the camp accommodation and dormitories. a. Performs regular tours and spot check on dormitories and other related facilities and follows up on remedial action in case of any finding. b. Reviews daily dormitory and accommodation reports in relevance to data available and ensures that all required services are carried out. c. Reviews the Facilities Supervisors inspection reports for dorms cleanliness and maintenance needs and amends preventive checking schedule accordingly. B. Coordinates and organizes facility related activities within the camp premises. a. Performs regular tours and spot checks on all camp premises and offices and follows up on remedial action in case of finding. b. Follows up with the Facilities Supervisor on maintenance, asset transfers and other requests. c. Reviews inspection reports on office cleanliness and maintenance needs, reviews and amends accordingly the preventive checking schedule. d. Reviews monthly reports on generators, gas, fuel, water, pest control, stationary, fire extinguisher, tool kits and cleaning materials for shortfalls or delays to take corrective measures or to suggest improvements. e. Reviews, approves and enters maintenance requests on system. f. Follows up on needed maintenance activities to meet set deadlines. g. Ensures that all activities are carried out within the set safety and health regulations related to the section. C. Oversees personnel documents and issues related to the camp team. a. Monitors his subordinates' attendance by reviewing and approving work and leave schedules. b. Suggests disciplinary actions in case of shortfalls or breach of regulations, after inspecting the cases. D. Monitors the use of equipment and tools and the expenditure of materials in the camp. a. Assesses the need of materials and consumables and sends requests for acquisition. b. Controls consumption of all materials on camp, defining minimum and maximum requirements. c. Ensures proper use of facilities equipment and investigates any accidental damage or abuse to issue recommendations. E. Performs other tasks and activities as requested.
