Further OEM training provides the technical skills for the engineer to operate confidently and independently for Granite Services. Training is conducted at the GE Power Systems University Training and Development Center in Schenectady, NY. After the formal classroom training, on the job training will commence depending on the specific individuals knowledge and experience. Job assignments can be either domestic or international, providing turbine related services (installation, maintenance or retrofit) to utility, industrial, transportation, government and commercial customers. This is a results oriented position. The job will involve extensive travel, long hours and shift work. Turbine maintenance, Installation, Retrofit, Generator maintenance Accountability: Control of costs mistakes could be detrimental to job cost Quality control; preservation, protection, security, or safekeeping of turbine modules, office trailers, tool trailers/gang boxes, cranes, and accessories, spare parts.
