Control Room Operator, STG Job - Marafiq Jun 2nd 2012, 08:03  Shift take over - review with outgoing shift control operator the activities of the previous shift such as, tripping, shut-downs, start-ups, deviations from normal operating standards, etc. to ensure that continuing problems are handled as necessary.  Review log book from previous shift to determine condition/status of each unit Check parameters, alarms, unit load, steam production, communicate with LDC relating to system export requirements, take corrective action in respect of deviations according to established procedures and report to Assistant Shift Charge Engineer or further advice and action.
