BTU Metering Engineer Job - Palm District Cooling Jun 10th 2012, 14:47 Leads the team of BTU Meter Readers ensuring timely and accurate meter reads. Also, leads the team of Metering Technicians ensuring that operational efficiency of BTU meters are maintained at all times. • Liaise with the vendors during commissioning to ensure customization of the AMR application to suit the needs in all aspects including report generation. • Oversee investigations of malfunctioning or tampered meters either internally or through suppliers (if under warranty), as required; directly involve in issues related to high value customers. • Ensures that faulty meters are repaired immediately so that actual reads can be obtained thus avoiding estimations. • Ensure that all meter readings obtained are uploaded into the ERP system accurately; investigate errors and alerts and resolve the same. • Supervise the daily field activities of the metering team including meter reading, connections, disconnections and all other operational activities to ensure that all planned activities are completed as required. • Complete adherence to ISO & EHS standards, policies and procedures.
