Job Description
Lead Structural Engineer - Structural Integrity My client provides a range of technical engineering services to Oil & Gas operators. A global company, they have a presence in all major Oil & Gas locations across the world and have experience in the areas of integrity, reliability and safety. For their Kuala Lumpur office my client currently requires a Senior Level Structural Engineer to join their team. As the Lead Structural Engineer for Structural Integrity Management you will report to the Regional Structural Integrity Manager and will be responsible for: * Leading a team of structural integrity engineers * Overseeing RBI and advanced analysis activities * Liaising with clients on structural integrity matters * Developing and reviewing technical documents * Providing technical input into commercial proposals The Lead Structural Engineer will hold a bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, higher education will be advantageous but not essential. Candidates must have chartered status with a minimum of 15 years experience in structural engineering and analysis. You should also have worked with structural integrity for at least 10 years. Other key requirements for the role include: * Knowledge of RBI for fixed and floating structures * Working knowledge of integrity management systems - GALIOM, FMS, COABIS * Technical understanding of FEA methods * Ability and willingness to mentor junior engineers In return my client is able to offer the Lead Structural Engineer not only a competitive remuneration package but also a challenging role with career growth prospects in one of the industries leading organisations.
