Job Description - Take responsibility for delegated work on risk based assessments, inspection plans, workbooks, reports, and other activities of the Company as assigned and where trained and proven competent.
Work effectively as a technical team leader on delegated tasks providing leadership and direction, or allocating tasks to the appropriate competent resource. This shall include coordinating allocated resources, contract liaison and budgetary control.
Be pro-active, innovative and committed in seeking to promote and develop the Company's market position and to improve its methods and techniques.
Act in a supporting role in whatever area necessary to assure the successful day-to-day operation of the company IIM group.
Take responsibility for personal development seeking to continuously improve personal and technical skills. Negotiate suitable training with the Company. Keep personal knowledge of engineering science and technology up-to-date.
Maintain professional engineering standards in all activities. Ensure that safety, environmental protection and statutory requirements are satisfactorily addressed. Act ethically and encourage others to do so.
In coordination with Senior Operations Manager, assign competent staff to the delivery teams. Where gaps exist these should be identified and specification developed to recruit suitable resources to the teams.
Interview and recommend recruitment where competency gaps exist within allocated teams.
Assist the Senior Operations Manager in input to the development of proposals for the division and the company
Delegate responsibilities for reporting and delivery to allocated Senior Engineers where appropriate.
Candidate Requirements -
Professional Engineer either to Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or Chartered Engineer (CEng)
Practical Minimum of 10 years discipline experience if IEng or 5 years if CEng relevant to integrity
Project/ Business management experience related to integrity management strategies and schemes
Track record of delivery
