Office Engineer Job - Al Arrab Contracting Co. May 29th 2012, 08:42 Reports to: Technical Manager Work location: Head office, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Role Purpose: The jobs in this level are responsible for performing standard engineering assignments to solve problems and make designs recommendations. The job holders are required to have a knowledge of a variety of products and the process knowledge of operations to achieve a short term objective. Job Description: • Follows all relevant engineering & design policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. • Performs a variety of routine tasks that are planned to provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff and the methods, practices, and programs of the project. • Provides straightforward solutions to problems using readily available, clear, and direct references. • Collects and evaluates data, and develops plans for assignments that may involve design application. • Analyses the required RFPs and develops the required specifications to meet the client's requirements. • Coordinates with the Technical manager and sends the required data sheet to the projects to ensure that the required specifications are all captured to manufacture the required products. • Reviews and approves the work and designs conducted by the draftsman to ensure the accuracy and detail of the designs. • Understands the specifications and requirements for certain simple products to be manufactured. • Updates construction design as per the construction obstacles solutions to ensure proper reflection of the construction work. • Provides inputs into construction issues solutions to ensure compliance with design principles and guidelines.
