Maintenance Planner Job - Lafarge May 13th 2012, 14:48 Overall Mission: •Define operational steps, manpower, spares and other resources necessary to achieve efficient and safe maintenance in line with technical standards. •Manage and improve the use of management tools, procedures and methodologies for maintenance. •Build and update main turnarounds schedule. Main activities: TOOLS •CMMS (Maximo) •MS Project •Key Equipment Basic Maintenance operation (KEBMO). SAFETY •Behave in accordance with the 11 rules established by the group. OPERATIONAL MISSIONS •Define the detailed methodology and the required resources, skills coordination and supervision for carrying out all the jobs according to priorities. •Prepare time and number of required people estimates for work orders and generic job plans to help optimising resources allocation. •Anticipate the preparation of major operations to be executed during main turnarounds. •Draw up the technical specifications for the purchase of non-stocked items. •Ensure quality for non-stocked items. •Ensure that all the necessary materials/tools are available for the execution of planned operations. •Define specifications of sub-contracted jobs together with the Head of Mechanical or Electrical departments. •Propose a weekly activity taking into account priorities. •Maintain and update information and data in the CMMS (Maximo), taking into account execution feedbacks. •Formalise and update records and statistics as well as technical documentation. •Compile all work orders to be carried out by all plant Departments. •Create with MS Project the turnaround schedule in accordance with safety aspects and foreseen turnaround duration. •Update the schedule during turnarounds.
