HVDC Systems Expert Job - CEGELEC UAE May 8th 2012, 10:34 Systems Expert 10 years experience required in HVDC stations Will focus on the maintenance, trouble shooting, and repair of the conversion / inversion valves and associated controls and protection equipment. This would include, but not be limited to the following:  Thyrister Converter and Inverter Valve Towers / Valves  Valve and Pole Controls  Valve Base Electronics (VBE)  Fibre Optic Systems  Protection Systems  Fire Detection Systems  Station Alarm Systems  Fault Recorders  DRPS (Dynamic Reserve Power Sharing) Controls  HMI Equipment  Cooling Controls and Equipment  Controls for the back-up generators Accomodation will be provided in Jubail (1h30 north of Dammam).
