Electronics Supervisor Job - National Marine Dredging Company May 27th 2012, 14:29 • Day to day manage the implementation of the, in accordance with Sr.Plant Superintendent developed, annual work plan of the Electrical/ Electronic WS section. • Provide input to the Sr. Plant Superintendent for the development of maintenance strategy and manage its implementation for all electrical parts of all vessels and support crafts. • Manage and monitor budget on a day to day basis and provide the Sr. Plant superintendent with weekly financial reports. • Execute and monitor the established policies and procedures for an effective and efficient functioning of the electrical division by visit workshop on a regular basis. • Provide accurate reports to Sr. Plant superintendent on work done/ performance, issues, and preventive maintenance requirements. • Provide the workshop with adequate and appropriate electrical expertise in order to keep the business running and minimize the downtime. • Analyze the reports provided by the workshop supervisors, assess electrical maintenance workshop activities and suggest efficiency improvement techniques by visit the workshop on a regular basis. • Provide the Sr. Plant superintendent with input from the workshop supervisors and deliver electrical expertise to advise in the decision making. • Manage and control the HSE requirements by visiting the Electrical/ Electronic Workshop on a regular basis; respond to Q/HSE reports and ensure addressed issues will be solved. • Collect and analyze the electrical purchase requisitions and provide input and recommendations to the electrical superintendent to order electrical (spare) parts and equipment. • Provide leadership and guidance towards electronic and electrical supervisors workshops; act as a specialist if issues cannot be solved onsite. • Cooperate efficiently and constructively discuss operational issues on a regular basis with w/s supervisors and foremen. • Coordinate and plan optimal staffing for effective, efficient and safe functioning of the electrical/ electronic workshop. • Provide Sr. superintendent with input and advise on staffing needs of the electrical/ electronic section following human resource procedures and processes. • Recommend to the Sr. electrical superintendent best development opportunities of electrical/ electronic workshop staff. • Coordinate and execute the yearly performance evaluation process for all staff within the electrical/ electronic workshop.
