1. Analyze to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
2. Detail all works and materials necessary for the project.
3. Identify packages of work to be carried out by subcontractors.
4. Prepare and send requests for quotation to vendors and subcontractors.
5. Define the required workforce and equipment
6. Confer with site managers, engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors.
7. Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation .
8. Assess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative.
9. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.
10. Identify, analyze and develop responses to any potential risks.
11. Carry out some quantity surveying duties.
12. Be involved in procuring materials and services.
13. Perform any other assigned related duties within scope of specialty.
