Key Requirements Qualifications & Education • BSc, BEng or higher in Mechanical, Structural, Civil or Offshore Engineering • Degree level or equivalent Subsea operations knowledge • Self motivated and able to effectively influence the Project Team and subcontract personnel Skills • Proficient in Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills • Excellent communicator, reader and writer • Able to demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to resolving problems with a pleasant and articulate manner • Capable of discussing issues and topics of importance at Senior Management Level • Good organisational skills and smart working methods Experience • At least 5 years experience in Subsea Engineering with a Subsea installation contractor in the capacity of Project Engineer with the extensive knowledge of project engineering and procedures • Demonstrable experience in an engineering position within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential • Working Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards Job Description Purpose of this role To provide Technical Engineering input to Tenders (method statements, schedules etc) assisting Business Management department. To define and manage engineering subcontractors scopes of work and details designs. To manage and delivery of work scope in applicable engineering and detailed design, procurement, project services and constructions related activities. Main Responsibilities • Provide technical / engineering input to Tenders and Proposals • Provide input to the establishment of a project execution plan. To include definition on project objectives, work scope, project team organisation, risks and opportunities, overall work plan and schedule, quality and safety requirements etc consistent with the term of the contract and the project execution plan mandatory contents • The implementation and maintenance of the project execution plan (PEP) • Manage engineering subcontractors • Define and outline the project requirements for detailed engineering and procedure preparation • Coordinate all engineering required for the project • Review of in house, 3rd party and subcontractor engineering deliverables • Provide technical support in Hazid, Hazops and HIRA'S • Control of engineering / execution schedule and the reporting of progress Apply for this oil and gas job
