Key Requirements 10 years experience in subsea control and structure design manufacturing and installation in projects Job Description A Norwegian project with a large SURF Package needs a Head of Subsea Structure who will be: Responsible for the subsea structure Detail engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing and commissioning on the project. COMPANY representative for project for all aspects related to subsea structures (SSIV, Wye, PLEM, Subsea control system) Activities: To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of a 24'' Subsea isolation valves skid (200 tons, incl. subsea control, SDU, Umbilical, topside HPU, TUTU) To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of a 24'' Subsea piggable Wye (150 tons) To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of a 24'' Subsea PLEM (100 tons) To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of a Subsea Arch for dynamic risers To supervise EPCIC contractor for the delivery of GRP protection covers To act as specialist for subsea structures within the Organization Participate in SURF tender evaluation for the subsea structure side. Monitoring and management of the Contractor to control that his achievements are in accordance with the contractual requirements. Prepare and monitor the project team EPC mobilisation and assist the site Lead control. Monitor the engineering activities and highlight any engineering issue that is or will impact the safety, the quality, the project schedule or the costs. Propose way forward and design changes to improve the efficiency of the work or to reduce some hazards severity. Ensure that the procurement activities are handled in a way that the equipments and material will be delivered with the requested quality, in due time and in accordance with Project procedures. As Company Site Representative, supervise the construction activities and solve any issue that may impact the quality, delay or safety. Make sure that the pre-commissioning is performed as per OPERCOM methodology. Assist the commissioning team in his work performance. Prepare and supervise the load-out and assist the transport and installation team. Plan and monitor the offshore work preparation. Ensure proper coordination within the site team and timely reporting to his Manager. To implement the HSE and QA/QC Project requirements at all stages of the Project.
