I am looking for suitable candidates for this Positioning Specialist role on behalf of my client - a leading Oil and Gas services company. This position is based in Australia, and the successful candidate will be in regular charge of the surveying section as well as supervising junior staff in field and in camp.
Key Requirements
Applicant Requirements:
*Operator positions are filled by experienced staff who have completed at least 1 year of seismic field work in that position who should have the potential for further managerial responsibility, such as becoming Chiefs within 2 years where they will manage the positioning activities of the crew.
*High-level communication abilities and language skills in team working environment,
*Primary Trainee / Junior qualification standards with seismic experience of at least 1 year.
*Ability to excel in tough physical conditions, this role can involve significant driving off road and supervision and coaching of others. Candidates should have experience in varied conditions and have demonstrated technical and managerial prowess in this position.
*Team working is central to progression on seismic crews where people live and work in close proximity. Candidates should be involved in team sports, possess sufficient affability / extrovert natures to become active crew members.
