Stationary Equipment Engineer Job Apr 9th 2012, 10:40 Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Conduct RBI analysis of applicable stationary equipment in the assigned area based on Company Mechanical integrity Program, develop and maintain procedures and systems to ensure their Reliability. Detailed Tasks / Activities Conduct RBI analysis of applicable Stationary equipments as per Company Mechanical integrity Policy/ Program and optimize inspection frequencies in order to focus on critical equipments and Process safety. Develop inspection and testing program to mitigate all risks identified that may cause a hazardous chemical release or production loss. Ensure that the inspection and testing program is executed as per schedule by following up own tasks as well as Maintenance tasks. Ensure that the inspection and testing program is audited in time as per Mechanical integrity policy / manual. Ensure that all equipment not covered by RBI are inspected as per relevant API codes. Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Conduct Root cause Failure analysis on repeated failures and identified critical failures. Conduct Root cause failure analysis on all repeated failures and all Safety Critical equipment failures. Involve Multi disciplinary team wherever the failure is complex in nature and consequences are considerable. Generate inspection reports with recommendations and SAP notifications and follow up until the recommendations are implemented. Involve OEM, expertise from CPChem / external resources if required and lead the effort in establishing contact and following through the investigation. Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Reliability Improvement of Static Equipments Actively participate in Reliability improvement teams and identify reliability improvement opportunities, develop plans on reliability improvement and take actions to get them implemented. Evaluate reliability improvement using growth analysis and other reliability tools Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Maintain Mandatory certifications Maintain at least API 510 - Pressure vessel inspector and API 570 - Piping Inspector certification valid all the time. More certifications applicable to Petrochemical industry are desirable. Ensure that technicians are maintaining their ASNT level II certifications. Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose Turnaround Inspection Prepare Inspection job list for Turnarounds and Compile them. Identify Inspection resources required for turnaround inspection and mobilize them. Carry out turnaround inspection by self as well as by guiding and controlling contract inspector specially recruited for turnaround inspection.
