Start-Up Leader Job - CEGELEC UAE Apr 12th 2012, 12:56 Situation in the organization chart Position to report to: Production field superintendent FSI Position type: Contracted Regime and Location : Rotational (4 weeks on / 4 weeks off) Yemen Block 10 - Kharir Field Position Extent Power plant rated 40 MW, with all utilities. 2 Rolls Royce Turbines 2 fuel gas compressors and associated treatment/ network Overall Duties Witness the plant commissioning on production behalf. Ensures proper communications between commissioning and operations Coordinates with the project team, vendors. Manages the operation team during the start up. Post start-up operations supervision. A. HSE: Ensure and control that all the plant are conducted in compliance with the applicable HSE rules and the safe operational working practices with respect to site instructions and procedures. Drives all JSA (Job safety analysis) made for the S/U procedures Participate to regular HSE trade meetings and HSE committee meeting. Feed required data to HSE on a daily / weekly basis (e.g. POB / Visitors / Hot work permits / Cold work permits / Downgraded situations / Trade meetings.) B. Duties: Review all pre-commissioning dossiers Witness all commissioning activities. Review and validate all start up procedures. Participate to pre-start-up and start-up activities. Validate as-built drawings of the Company. Keep the Master document register up to date. Prepare weekly updates of: ERP / Downgraded situations / Overrides / LO / LC / Safety meetings. Attend morning production meeting and evening work permit coordination meeting. Assist in the screening of work permits / identify any interferences. Ensure that adequate supervision is provided for all works carried out. Ensure that the procedures are properly followed by the personnel. Participate in the creation of a daily production report including: Company parameters Context and environment Desert environment in the centre of Yemen, 10 to 45 oC. Multi-national and multi-religion community. Company is located at 10 minutes by car from Kharir camp. Driving license is mandatory. Good health is mandatory.
