Maintenance Planning Engineer Job - Muhringer Apr 15th 2012, 09:11 Position purpose Maintenance planning engineer works closely with operations and maintenance personnel to identify areas of opportunity and improvement to equipment reliability The maintenance planning engineer is required to follow up out sourced maintenance projects, help in investigation of equipment failures and develop action plans to eliminate repetitive failures and assure accuracy of equipment files Review critical equipment in the assigned areas and assure adequate pares are available Essential Functions and Responsibility of position, but not limited to: o Schedule preventative maintenance and repair activities. o Prepareplans for all types of maintenance activities, like routine overhauls, planned shutdown, majorinspections, etc. o Ensure all equipment has the appropriate preventive maintenance at the proper intervals.Plans maintenance work that contributes to the over all performance and reliability of the production equipment and facility. o Maintain equipment data and history files. o Coordinate with maintenance,production, and other departments and contractors to ensure that proper preventive maintenance tasks are performed o Update equipment running hours records into CMMS o Track status of back log and classify them accordingly such as, jobs planned and ready to be executed,jobs waiting for material,jobs that can only be done during major shutdown, age of back log.etc...Issue weekly work order maintenance back log status report. o Monitor maintenance costs o Compile and issue monthly maintenance progress reports of planned man hours, actual man hours, material costs and performance percentage. o Up keep the accuracy of equipment maintenance history and job records database files Manage and analyze maintenance data and information collected o Monitor equipment availability and reliability Provide recommendation to optimize preventive maintenance with the objective of improving the availability and reliability of equipment Job Details Date Posted: 2012-04-15 Job Location: Amman, Jordan Job Role: Engineering Company Industry: Oil/Gas Preferred Candidate Career Level: Management Degree: Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Apply Now - Jobs in Jordan - Search All Jobs
