ESTIMATING ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) - Job ID. TQFS 03 Job - Tyco Fire & Security UAE Apr 9th 2012, 14:42 Tyco Fire & Security is looking for an Estimating Engineer (Electrical) to join Tyco Qatar Fire & Security in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate should be able to : • Receive, create and maintain Tender files, quotations and associated documents • Attend site surveys, bid clarification meetings and maintain reports • Review tender documents and understand or seek clarifications from either the customer or the Department Manager • Seek quotations from the sub-vendor, sub-contractors, etc. • Estimate in-house product costs • Estimate cost for engineering, labor, project management, etc. • Collect all the costs and present to the Management for approval • Prepare and submit proposals in line with customer requirements and as per Tyco policies and QA procedures • Consult and coordinate with client representative for specification / technical clarifications • Attend techno-commercial negotiation meetings along with the Management • Be conversant with the Company Quality and HSE policies and ensure they are observed and implemented Job Details Date Posted: 2012-04-09 Job Location: Doha, Qatar Job Role: Engineering Company Industry: Engineering; Construction; Oil/Gas Preferred Candidate Career Level: Mid Career Degree: Bachelor's degree / higher diploma Apply Now - Jobs in Qatar - Search All Jobs
