Reports To:
FM Senior Operations Manager

Position Summary
Directs all environmental services activities in accordance with company, hospital, skilled nursing facility and retirement home standards and requirements, using SODEXO service manuals and guidelines.

Responsibilities
Develops operational objectives in support of regional and corporate goals and objectives.
1) Executes activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with client expectations, service requirements, and SODEXO goals and objectives.
2) Prepares and operates within an annual operating budget. Completes regularly scheduled financial reports to monitor financial results.
3) Ensures execution of SODEXO QMS standards and procedures, compiles data and reports to appropriate client departments, management and governmental agencies.
4) Develops and maintains an organizational structure and staffing schedules (within the Environmental Services Department of a client facility).
5) Secures and develops staff members who will achieve performance standards within the unit.
6) Implements safety programs that teach equipment maintenance and accident prevention.
7) Executes company, client and legally required personnel programs and procedures, including related administration reporting and documentation.
8) Develops and maintains documentation and other criteria as required by all regulatory agencies.
9) Ensures that each department member has been properly trained to use all products and equipment in line with the Policy and Procedures manuals for Environmental Services.
10) Serves as a resource and ensures communication for client administration, staff, and company personnel by communicating new industry, cleaning, laundry and operational trends. Communication methods include participation on client committees and conducting department meetings and training sessions.
11) Develops and maintains professional client relations through formal and informal communication systems.
