Chief Engineer- Environment Job - Focus Career HR and Recruitment Consultants Apr 15th 2012, 09:11 Major Functions To operate and manage the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Preventive Maintenance Analyzing overall Reports relating to ETP Maintain inventory of Spare parts/Consumable items Improvement of existing ETP Be a key player for further expansion of the ETP Manage the manpower, training, holiday planning etc., Be a front-leader in trouble-shooting the ETP Ensure the plant runs according to the Kuwaiti Law Financial Responsibility for running cost & budgeting (CAPEX) II. Basic Duties & Responsibilities [Time Spent%: ]Functional Responsibilities [Time Spent%: 50]To Monitor and Analyze the process Implementation of Research & Optimization Ensure that the Plant is in technical good order Optimization of our Maintenance System in Maximo Ensure together with the Spare parts Store availability of parts Find the root cause of technical/processing issues and share the information with the team Report daily to the Chief Engineer Work closely with other Departments regarding Effluent Administrative Resposibilities [Time Spent%: 20]Be responsible for following up the financial costs and efficiency Suggests areas for improvement in internal process along with possible solutions Be a part of Procedures and Guidelines and to achieve Department goals Financial Responsibility for running cost Close relation with Project Department when future Projects People Management Responsibilities [Time Spent%: 15]Takes part in regular status meetings with team. Identifying the Training needs of the team Keeps team informed about technical development and reviews. Supports the Engineers to effectively utilize each team member to his fullest potential. Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner. Conducts effective performance evaluations and mentors those with less experience through formal channels.
